DSI MEP - Mobile Enterprise Platform, from (DSI) Data Systems International is an (ADC) Automated Data Collection system that acts as a link to your ERP system or database

Application Studio as its name implies, is a studio or suite of applications for designing and developing mobile applications. What do I mean by ‘designing and developing mobile applications’? Well, in this case it refers to putting together a group of data entry fields, display screens, data download requests, menus, selection lists and so on. Once all of these are combined together we call it a "mobile application". Think of a “mobile application” as an interactive program. The mobile application prompts the User for required elements necessary to complete a task or a set of tasks. For instance, the application might include an entry field where you are required to either scan or manually enter an Item or Product identification number, which is then displayed on a screen and then that number is sent to your database to verify that it’s a valid Item or Product.

Cloud Inventory Platform Application Studio is the same as MEP Application Studio, except that it has been re-branded and can be cloud based

Mobile Client is a component that is installed on either a handheld barcode scanning device or on a desktop or laptop computer. Mobile Client allows the Mobile Applications to run on these devices. 

DSI MEP (Mobile Enterprise Platform) has it's roots in dcLINK version 7 and is a departure from their previous dcLINK versions in that it is a significant redesign of the tools and most importantly it can be used across a multitude of device types such as smart phones and tablets, in addition to the standard warehouse scan-enabled devices that have typically dominated the Data Collection world. The latest offering of this product from DSI is version 9.0.

 JD Edwards Advanced Warehouse module is a Warehouse Management System (WMS) that manages product storage, retrieval and movement throughout your warehouse
